Kids absolutely love these fun, creative, and edible projects. It teaches them basic life skills and is a great bonding time with teachers. The experience of creating meals can help build their self-confidence, inculcate independence, and lay the foundation for healthy eating habits. It helps in developing fine motor skills too. Also during the activity, they are introduced to ingredients that increase a child’s vocabulary. Kids also have to follow directions which enhances concentration and receptive language skills.

IMPRESSIONS AND INSPIRATION #WorldPathologyday
Neuron Labs is extremely proud to announce the launch of a special series- 'Impressions and Inspirations', an initiative where our Grade 6, 7and 8 students interact with professionals from various walks of life.
This interaction helps our students pick up valuable inputs regarding the choice of career paths in the future. They also come to know about skills and career atributes needed to stay competent in this fast paced, ever changing world.
The main idea behind this project is to provide professional guidance to our students and to nurture them into independent, smart and proactive thinkers of tomorrow.
Keeping in sync with the current pandemic situation, we invited Dr.SaranyaSingaravel and Dr. Aditya Kulkarni, who are both Pathologists and front line workers waging a war on Covid-19.
Our students played a wonderful audience. Our guests were enraptured by the clarity and complexity of their communication expertise. The students demonstrated great listening and interpersonal skills during the question answer forum.
It was a great learning experience for our students. The first of many to come and the one that they will cherish for a long time to come.

How our earth looks?? Model of earth made by Grade 5 students. #learningbydoing#earth
Earth comprises four separate layers. Most of the geologist believes that as the Earth cooled, the heavier and the denser material sank into the centre, and the lighter ones rose towards the top. Due to this, the outermost layer is made of the lightest materials such as rocks and granites and the innermost layer consists of nickel and iron. Let’s look at the different layers of earth modelled by Grade 5 students.

We are totally amazed at the innovative ideas they came up with and proud to see how these young citizens are making an effort to ensure a sustainable future!
Think twice before throwing away anything. There is a limited amount of resources in our biosphere, and so one of the most important areas to focus on is making sure that the resources currently in use are used to their full extent, and then reused.

Every year, the spectacular and bedazzling festival of Diwali is celebrated by Indians all over the world at the end of Ashwin month (between September and October) with its festivities continuing till the beginning of Kartika month (between October and November) based on the auspicious Hindu calendar. Unlike most Indian festivals, the vivacious festival of Diwali is not just a one-day fiesta, but its revelry continues for five days. The festival of lights, as it is lovingly known, inspires people to believe in the power of good and signifies that no matter how dark the night gets, the light of a single lamp can enlighten one's path. The words of Shakespeare -”See yea that light yonder so shines a good deed in a naughty world”, rightly summarize the purpose of this festival.
The festival of Diwali is not just about deity worship, firecrackers, sweets, delectable food, and holidays, rather it provides one and all an opportunity to spread Diwali cheer as well as catch up with relatives and friends.
What's a Diwali without a personal touch! Our Neuronites have crafted these wonderful decorative items which added five stars to the Diwali decoration.

If winters are here, can spring be far behind", the classic P.B Shelly line aptly sums the ethos of India's MakarSankranti celebrations.
MakarSankranti is popular for sesame sweets and kites, as this auspicious day marks the arrival of spring in India.
The tradition of flying kites is considered to be healthy, as one gets exposed to the sun, early in the morning. It is said that during winter the body is prone to infection and gets dry due to the conditions. Hence, the early morning rays become a necessary source of Vitamin D and medication, thereby helping in keeping the skin healthy and fighting infections and sickness.

World Yoga Day
For centuries, people from all civilizations have offered prayers to the sun – the ultimate source of life and energy. One such practice is the yogic sequence of Surya Namaskar.
Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutation is an ancient technique of paying respects to the sun. It is a form of expressing gratitude to this source of all life on earth.
The benefits of Surya Namaskar are manifold. It helps in better functioning of the body and mental faculties.
Life and energy are given by the Sun to the entire world. So, why not do a little sequence to honor the life nourisher and sustainer?
With this in mind, our school invited our students and parents to imbue the goodness of Yoga to revitalize the mind, body, and soul. Let’s take a look.
